Introduction

My name is Barbara Katz, and I am a library science graduate student at Texas Woman's University.  I will complete my degree in Spring 2006. This web site is a requirement for a graduate course in Multicultural Literature. You will find book reviews, an author study, quotes, and more.
 
Currently, I am a school librarian at a PreK to second grade private school in Dallas, Texas. I have a passion for children's literature, and I love sharing literature and puppets with my students. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the movies and art museums, ushering at several theaters with my husband, reading, traveling, and making beaded jewelry and greeting cards. I am a "mature student," and it has been an adventure to work full-time and attend graduate school.
